How it all started
Dianna Shea O’Briant is an artist and surface designer currently living in Marina, CA. She holds a BFA in Illustration/Surface Design as well as a minor Art History from the Memphis College of Art and creates art with themes of nature and feminism. Her mediums include watercolor, ink, photography, digital painting, silk painting, and embroidery to create whimsical, subtly erotic, and ethereal paintings and drawings.
Experience
She has 5 years of experience leading docent tours in museums, and galleries, workshops for basic illustration and painting techniques, hanging artwork, sketch booking skills, and children’s programming such as art camps, classes, and family activities working alongside the education departments at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis, TN, Monterey Museum of Art, and now at the Cooper-Molera Adobe in downtown Monterey, CA. You can find her drawing, watering plants, or cooking when she is not making her own fine art.
